E-3 Visas are for Australian professionals who intend to work in the United States in a professional capacity.

To apply for E-3 Visa status you must:

• Have a offer of employment in the US in an occupation which requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree,
• Have any/all licenses or official permission to practice in the specialty occupation (if applicable)
• Job offer letter or relevant documentation from the employer to evidence that the beneficiary will be employed in a specialty occupation and will be paid the higher of the actual prevailing wage.
• Relevant academic credentials
• A Labor Condition Application (LCA)

Unlike the H-1B visa which has a quota of 85,000 and triple the number of applicants applying each year, the E-3 visa annual limit is 10,500 and this limit has never been reached!
